Guest Artist
Rick Nixon
(2003 resume)

After fifteen years in ballet, Rick Nixon hung up his shoes (after removing them) and allowed his love of the sword to lead him into several years training in fencing and historical stage combat.  His love of dance then re-asserted itself and he hung up his sword (after running one last micreant through) and took up ballroom, a dance form with far more challenges than he would have guessed.  Currently he teaches ballroom, and he and his wife Peggy Davis-Nixon perform ballroom works around the Bay Area as well as competing seriously (and occasionally humorously).

Rick has performed in A Short Solo and A Short Duet from Les Sillyphides and in Waterworks-in-Progress..
