Dudley Brooks was asked by Anandha Ray, Artistic Director of Moving Arts Dance, to choreograph the Tea Party Scene and the Caterpillar’s Dance in The MAD Hatter
Performance and Tea Party.
In this soon-to-be-traditional story, which combined elements of Alice in Wonderland, The Nutcracker, The Velveteen Rabbit, and Peter Pan, Alice’s
great-great-granddaughter Allyson fell down that famous rabbit hole and met the MAD Hatter, the Formerly White Rabbit, the Red Queen, Rapper Dee and Rapper Dum, and other descendants of the Wonderland characters, as
well as a few visitors from The Nutcracker.
Choreographers were Anandha Ray, Dudley Brooks, Bryon Heinrich, Michael Lowe, Jenny McAllister, Holly Morrow, and Anthony Young.
